On a high-emission car, the emissions tax is what makes the difference. A vehicle above 192 g/km reaches the ceiling of the 2026 French CO2 penalty, 80,000 EUR, whatever its price. In Spain, a car above 200 g/km pays 14.75 % of its pre-tax value on top of VAT. Andorra has neither.

The dealership sells the car. Registration is a separate matter, which we hand to the Andorran provider suited to your case.
Are you buying, or do you already own the car?
The two situations have neither the same formalities nor the same starting point.
- You are buying the car. The purchase happens at a dealership, in Andorra or elsewhere, and Andorran registration follows. That is the case described in the brand pages above.
- You already own the car, through your company. This becomes a sale between two companies, followed by an export and an Andorran registration. See our guide to transferring a vehicle from your company to an Andorran company.
